    Hi, All!

My greetings from Russia (ex-Union of Soviet Social Republics).

    And You?

    Howdy, Denis!

    Welcome!

I recall the CCCP from when I collected stamps as a child. . .

Now it's just Russia, home of the only hockey team to give Canada a
challenge in the Olympics (yes, I see you, USA!)

I've worked with a couple of Russiuan guys over the years. Always nice
    people.

I know very little Russian language' you obviously habvve better English
than my Russian; I know only:

    da
    nyet
    spasibo
    dasvidanya
kah geh beh (I like reading novels of international intrigue)

    You havge a disability?

I'm 54 & paralyzed on my left side, mostly, due to a burst aneurysm in my
brain & subsequent hydrocephalus & stroke.

I get by, though; I, after that, took some computer training, been working mostly since, & got married & had children.

May I ask about you? ( whatever you're willing to share, of course!)

Remember Ceylon? It just vanished somewhere along the way, along with Burma,
& dn't even get me started on Africa! At one point, in 1977, I hasdf the entire African map of countries memorized. . . now the only one left
untouched, I think, is Egypt. . . (all those mummy curses, I guess)

I don't know why Io don't get back into stamps; it's ideal for my curent physical limitations (only one working arm & leg); my mom gave me a 40gallon plasyic container full of books of stamps & envelopes of stamps, & envelopes with stamps; I could start going through. . .

    But. . . internet, you know? . . . *LOL*

I used to say it as: Sleep is for the BBS-challenged, now I say:

Sleep is for those who can't afford an unlimited ISP connection.

They are, too. They're over here on a 3-hour offset after torturing you!

My friend is a rapper with insomnia
    Lil’ Sleep

I was recently arrested due to my insomnia
    I was resisting a rest

Son: Dad, I think I have insomnia...
Dad: "You should go live in New York City then"
    Son: "Why"
Dad: "Because it's the city that never sleeps"

If you are suffering from insomnia, listen to some smooth jazz right
    before bedtime.
It has a lot of mellow tonin’.

I'm going to start a support group for Witches with insomnia.
It will be called " No rest for the Wiccan."

I’ve dedicated my whole life to finding a cure for insomnia.
    I won’t rest until I find it.

Yup, but only one person, a cop, is known for tasing his 10yo who wouldn't
fall asleep on command! Of course, he's not charged with murder, as he should've been.

Because he's the only father stressed by his job & life, right? must be
because other people don't murder their kid for insomnia!

That, or it's the fumes from all the bullsh*t around the world today?

Well, guess I'd better end this on a happier tone. . .

Q: What do you call a happy cowboy?
    A: A jolly rancher

I came home really drunk last night and my wife wasn’t happy at all. “How
much have you had to drink?” she asked sternly, staring at me. “Nothing” I slurred. “Look at me!” she shouted. “It’s either me or the pub, which one
    is it?”
I paused for a second while I thought and mumbled, “It’s you. I can tell by
    the voice.”

My wife and I just celebrated 10 years of happy marriage...
It was, coincidentally, our 30th wedding anniversary.

Q: From a 5yo: What does a happy shark say?
    A: Have a FIN-tastic day!

I had a happy childhood. My dad used to put me in tires and roll me down
    hills
    Those were goodyears

The day I turned 42, my daughter walked up to me and said "happy...", and started timing on her watch. After a long silence she said...
"...40 second birthday". I was so proud.

I named my dog "Happy New Year"
when I call him in every night, the neighbors think I've lost my mind

    Meme:

Man in shorts & a tee, jogging: "Run"
Man in a suit & tie, jogging: "Run as Administrator"

Oops, is this even the FUNNY echo? No, whyt am I doing ObJs then?

Sporry, Moderator, but insomnia can be considered a disability, right?
