• Guide to Pointing from Synchronet

From Mewcenary@VERT/EXTRICAT to All on Fri Feb 11 14:23:23 2022
    Hi!

Does anyone have a link to a guide to configuring Synchronet correctly to have a 'point' running off it?

I have it running in a typical way connected to a couple of Hubs. That's all working fine.

Now, I'd like to revisit some old Amiga Fidonet software. It isn't QWK compatible so I'd need to call in via a BinkD compatible mechanism. Hence the point approach.

    Thanks all,

    Mewcenary.

Just add the point on echocfg at "links nodes" menu. example: if your
bbs fidonet node is 4:902/26, you can add a link with 4:902/26.10, set
    packet type, and passwords.

Then configure your point software with that information
