Ok.. I had some time today so I went through the nodelist segment. If
your name is listed you MUST contact me via email
(otaku.txie@gmail.com)
I have no passwords/any info for the following nodes
39:902/501 - Wayne Smith (DEAD)
39:902/504 - Todd Zieman (DEAD)
39:902/506 - Ryan Fantus (DEAD)
39:902/512 - Ryan Fantus (DEAD)
39:902/520 - Danial Kelly (DEAD)
39:902/521 - Chris Costanzo (DEAD)
You have until Feb 15th to contact me. if I do not get confirmation by then
I will remove your node from Amiganet.
I am not chasing people down, it's not my responsibility :D
Well as NC you can atleast try and contact them...
It took me about 5 minutes to investigate above nodes, and find out Wayne and Todd's systems are connectable, so you could send them a crash mail. Ryan's and Chris's system give a timeout on the binkp port, and Danial's hostname gives a "Name or service not known", so he's a gonner. I even cross referenced their names with the fidonet nodelist if there was any other contact info, in that 5 minutes, but no luck.
I have the email address of Ryan, and maybe others, which I will send you in a netmail.
I spent the night calling the boards and leaving messages.. the rest
is up to them. I did manage to get a hold of a couple of them.
And how do you suppose they will read your threat, when they were only connected here through Carlos (if at all)? ;)

Ok, great! Thanks!

Hey.. where can I grab FMail/Linux? I very much require it for a project I am working on.
That probably explains:
------------ Wed 2019-02-06, FMail-lnx64-2.1.0.18-Beta20170815 16:36:22.149 Toss
16:36:22.152 Received password "" from node 39:902/0, expected "*****" 16:36:22.152 Packet password security violation; packet file:
It's still sort of in Beta. (But working very stable here and at a node
in Australia for a couple of years now)
So it's not directly available. You need to compile it from source yourself (if your linux is to far removed from the kernel and libraries I'm using). And the configuration program hasn't been converted to linux yet. So you need a (virtual) windows to do the configuration.
If you are still interested I'll give you the details. ;)

Actually I think that was me.. you are one of the few that uses a different password for everything and I might have mixxed up your
packet password with your areafix/tic password .. netmail me so I can change it

I have a linux development box so I dont think dependencies will be an issue. It has a full -dev install on it and I have a windows machine
for the config :)
