And how do you suppose they will read your threat, when they were only connected here through Carlos (if at all)? ;)

Well as NC you can atleast try and contact them...

It took me about 5 minutes to investigate above nodes, and find out Wayne and Todd's systems are connectable, so you could send them a crash mail. Ryan's and Chris's system give a timeout on the binkp port, and Danial's hostname gives a "Name or service not known", so he's a gonner. I even cross referenced their names with the fidonet nodelist if there was any other contact info, in that 5 minutes, but no luck.

I have the email address of Ryan, and maybe others, which I will send you in a netmail.

    Bye, Wilfred.

I spent the night calling the boards and leaving messages.. the rest is up to them. I did manage to get a hold of a couple of them.

Well I have seen some of them in the last callers on my BBS and a couple
others that get Amiganet from me, so it was a shot in the dark

I have the email address of Ryan, and maybe others, which I will send
    you in a n etmail.

I contacted Ryan earlier this morning, just waiting for a reply..

Np.. I was looking at MBSE's outbound and it's a bloody mess.. mail packets sitting here since September .. I'm going to get it sorted this weekend. I've moved the hub over to the newest alpha of Mystic because quite frankly it's much easier to monitor, the move should have been seamless to those that are already connected

Hey.. where can I grab FMail/Linux? I very much require it for a project I am working on.

    That probably explains:

    ------------ Wed 2019-02-06, FMail-lnx64-2.1.0.18-Beta20170815
    16:36:22.149 Toss
16:36:22.152 Received password "" from node 39:902/0, expected "*****" 16:36:22.152 Packet password security violation; packet file: /home/fido/inbound/5b915ac4.pkt is renamed with extension: '.wrong_password'

Which, after investigation, seems to be comming from mbse.

Hey.. where can I grab FMail/Linux? I very much require it for a project I am working on.

It's still sort of in Beta. (But working very stable here and at a node in Australia for a couple of years now)
So it's not directly available. You need to compile it from source yourself (if your linux is to far removed from the kernel and libraries I'm using). And the configuration program hasn't been converted to linux yet. So you need a (virtual) windows to do the configuration.
If you are still interested I'll give you the details. ;)
Or you can read back in the FMAIL_HELP area, where it was discussed in the past (about 2 years ago I think)...

    Bye, Wilfred.

I have a linux development box so I dont think dependencies will be an issue. It has a full -dev install on it and I have a windows machine for the config

Above it says the Received password "", so it was empty. This was a pkt file with just one netmail. Other (compressed) pkt files with echomail, that came in the same session were ok...

Ok, you can try the executables in these files:

    http://vlzn.nl/fmail/files/FMail-lnx32-2.1.0.17-Beta20170808.zip http://vlzn.nl/fmail/files/FMail-lnx32-2.1.0.18-Beta20170905.zip http://vlzn.nl/fmail/files/FTools-lnx32-static-2.1.0.17-Beta20170809.zip

If these run without complaining, your good to go. Otherwise we have to go the compilation route, which first involves getting the source with git from sourceforge...

    https://sourceforge.net/p/fmail/code/ci/master/tree/

Then you also need the codeblocks ide. If that's not available directly for your distribution, you can get it here:

    http://www.codeblocks.org/

BTW: Maybe we should take this to netmail, or a more apropriate area. Since you are nolonger in fidonet FMAIL_HELP isn't an option, so maybe MAIL_AMY?

    Bye, Wilfred.
