How would people feel about gating all of the echo's in AmigaNet into a newsgroup hiarchey called amiganet.*?

It's just an idea but it would definately stimulate conversation and bring
more Amiga users/fans into the mix.

As some of you might already know, I run a big free nntp server for the bbs community. I could easily propose an amiganet.* hiarchy and take care of
all the admin functions for it like issuing all the control messages and the needed checkgroup messages.

It's just an idea and i'd like to hear other people's thoughts.

    Thanks.

The nice thing about controling a small hiarchy is the ability to filter out pretty much all of the spam.

I don't mind as long as it isn't too public. Spambots and google (alike) shouldn't be able to find or access it.

You say this every time anything related to AmigaNet comes up. But you never leave... So I'm not going to take you serious anymore on these statements.
