Hey, that's what I want to be using in the (near) future too!
Any tips you can give for compiling, etc, are welcome! ;)
Download the source from sourceforge, unpack. cd to the src dir,
copy the header file (forget the name but it's *.__h), to the
same name, but withiout the __'s there. Ie: header.h. Edit said
file, and then compile it... wait and then have fun....
Ok, thanks, will try that...
It was that easy! It also helps me a heap, as mbse (the bbs) generates a golded config file...
Unfortunately, it is not going to be that easy:
...
g++ -c -MD -D__INCLUDE_NEW_KEYWORDS__ -funsigned-char -g -I../../goldlib/gall -I../../goldlib/hunspell -Wall -Wno-sign-compare -pedantic -O2 -DPRAGMA_PACK -fno-rtti -D__USE_NCURSES__ -D__INCLUDE_NEW_KEYWORDS__ -o ../../obj/lnx/gall/gmemdbg.o gmemdbg.cpp
gmemdbg.cpp: In function ‘Throw* throw_find_overrun(Throw*)’: gmemdbg.cpp:196: error: cast from ‘Throw*’ to ‘uint32_t’ loses precision
gmemdbg.cpp:196: error: cast from ‘Throw*’ to ‘uint32_t’ loses precision
gmemdbg.cpp: In function ‘Throw* throw_find_underrun(Throw*)’: gmemdbg.cpp:214: error: cast from ‘Throw*’ to ‘uint32_t’ loses precision
gmemdbg.cpp:214: error: cast from ‘Throw*’ to ‘uint32_t’ loses precision
make[1]: *** [../../obj/lnx/gall/gmemdbg.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/wilfred/Projects/golded+/goldlib/gall'
make: *** [all] Error 2
I suspect this is due to the fact that I'm compiling on a 64bit system.
I'll have to look into that...
Bye, Wilfred.
