You probably can. But that's not what news is meant for. News is meant for sharing messages among groups of people.

Btw: How are you going to send the nzb file to the recipients? Why not just send the packets along the same route, instead of making it yourself difficult by misusing news for it... ;)

    Bye, Wilfred.

step number 1 is to think :)

But that's not what news is meant for.

    oh ?
linkedin is not mean for fidonet and amiganet users either :)

News is meant for sharing messages among groups of people.

and lets waste file areas to be ticked around the world when all thats is needed in news is to share it there with a tic to nsb program :)

for pkt i still think it can be done with news area pr auth natively in news for fidonet nodes, its just a matter of doing it

i have not seen alot of good things in news that is worth downloading in PAN ;)

back to dansguardian proxy configureing :/

Not quite auth, more moderated, but that doesn't mean everyone can't see
what's going on, they just can't post to the group without the mod approving it. Not a good idea at all for netmail. You are 100% correct, nntp is to echomail as email is to netmail, not to be mixed up.
