Ok.. as you can tell from the origin line of this message, I have added Amiganet to my main BBS because there are some serious Y2K issues with almost every Amiga BBS software package I tested out.

Seems like back then people did not consider using 4 digit years so the
system is thinking it is 1917 and not 2017 .. as you can imagine the problems this causes with mail tossers trying to toss messages that are 100 years in
    the past

This one is alright, but you are using mystic now...

Well, not so much problems, but older than 60 days messages are dumped in my BAD area, and not forwarded to other links...

    Bye, Wilfred.

Yea.. I added Amiganet to my main BBS.. I was trying to avoid this because I wanted to keep Amiganet on the Amiga BBS .. I have a couple of solutions to
try but I'm out of steam for today lol

Sorry.. might be time to go back to square 1 and try some other options

We have 1 other "pure" Amiga bbs in the network running Zeus. The sysop is also the developper. It seems to be running without the kind of problems you are experiencing...

    See above. ;)

Zeus is still in development?? The website has been stagnant for years the
last time I checked.. I have a very OLD version of Zeus that I did run for awhile but now it's so old and stale and not working very well anymore and I paying money for any software Amiga related is just not in the cards. I would have liked to run my Zeus BBS again.. but when I installed my old version
and tried to post a message I was getting illegal calls in MSG/MsgPost.rexx which I was unable to figure out why it worked out of the box before but now
    no more

The developper is here, but I don't think he does much development on it...

Well maybe if people start talking about and/or using Zeus the dev might be pursuaded to continue :) Zeus is quite a very well put together BBS package

I have never ran Zeus when I had my BBS running from CNet on my Amiga 2000, but the few boards that I did visit that ran Zeus were pretty good.

I don't know, he seems to be very busy IRL... ;)

It is pretty good, and it's even better if you are familiar with Arexx programming (which I am) because alot of the BBS uses Arexx scripts to do
stuff so it gives you so many more options for customizing it

Yea, that seems to be the norm.. Things get put aside and other priorities
take over .. but like I said.. it never does hurt to try :)
